Does God really exist?
The question most humans born on this planet ask before they die. At least those who do not surrender fully to their ancestors’ ideas would have asked it. Because they have experienced a lot more than their ancestors. They have found the answers for thousands of questions, which baffled their ancestors. So the question to you is, do you still believe everything told by a group of people, who did not know how the earth looked like? Do you believe their texts written during periods, when there was no scientific or archaeological proofs to back their stories?
This story starts by breaking the myths and ends in giving the benefit of doubt to the religion.
Did God create humans?
Before we talk about God. Lets get the facts straight about how Humans evolved. Spoiler Alert: Adam was not created by God. If Adam was the first human created on earth, he would have had a brain evolved enough to communicate with God. If that is true then his children would have spoken or even written the God’s language in some cave. We all know languages evolved recently in the human history. Not million years ago when Homo genus split from Hominini. And the first human looked more like a Chimp than a human. If you think God made man in his image, you are mocking your creator my friend.
Human evolution — From Apes till Dudes
Humans and Apes evolved from a same family. Then why do we see Apes till today? For some this is the argument to support theory of special creation. Let me shed some light on this. At some point of time in our history, a group of Apes were pushed out of forests to live in the grasslands. These Apes had to run to save themselves from the predators, because they didn’t have trees to hide. They also had to carry their food to their habitat while doing so. How is that possible if you are walking on four legs? So they evolved to survive. They became bipeds while their cousins lived safely in trees avoiding evolution. These evolved Apes passed on their strong survival instincts to their children, through DNA. This triggered an exponential growth in them, leading to the marvelous human evolution.
We have evidence to the human evolution through different fossils. So!
Birth of the Gods
We evolved for millions of years and we developed some more skills like hunting in groups and living in herds. People of same herd had some things in common like symbols, speech patterns and beliefs. Imagine you have the same brain size of your partner in those days. You both see lightning hit a tree. You will decide to call it a heavenly force, because it is not from the land you both live on. Likewise another group of people decided to call Sun a God. Some decided to give it a name too. So throughout the world we had different groups of people inventing all kinds of Gods.
Religions were created to explain things humans didn’t understand.
Science — the modern religion
But we now know things that our ancestors didn’t fully understand. We see, touch and feel the things to believe. We question stuffs to find out if they are real. We see the stars at night, the sun, the moon and the planets too. We believe them to be real. How? Because if you go out during a hot summer noon, you will get tanned. There are solar panels from which we generate electricity. We also have touched the moon by foot (some may say its a fake) and using lunar rovers. Also if you believe that a Volcano is real then you should accept the fact that the Earth’s is burning hot inside. So if it is burning inside it should have separated from a much bigger burning parent right? The one it revolves around. So now the important question to you,
Do you think someone up in the heaven created this giant ball of fire, called Sun to burst exactly into 8 planets and all it’s satellites? Do you know how many satellites are there for Jupiter and Saturn? If you were the God will you sit there designing all those satellites to be unique by your power? If you think this is easy then think about all the unique stars and galaxies in this universe. Among this vast universe which evolved, will you carefully place Earth in it’s current position, giving it a tilt with fire inside, land and oceans outside? Making it the only possible place of life in this solar system. Also triggering human evolution at a precise moment of it’s history? Is it not something like predicting the 1000000000000000000th atom’s structure while splitting the 1st atom? I don’t think so.
It is a design of Chaos and God is an agent of chaos.
Does God really exist?
Did I just say God exists? Yes, I did. It is extremely clear that we were born out of chaos. But who triggered this chaos is the question science has no answers to. Newton’s first law will support me in this, there should have been a force. Every religion has it’s own unanswered questions and this is science’s million dollar question. This is where we may take a step back from all our advancements to believe this crazy idea.
My opinion
I believe there is a bigger force that created this chaos, much larger force than anybody can think of. And we can call it the God. And I think God is someone who is a big fan of freewill. Who gave this universe the freedom to burst out into a shape it likes. I don’t think this God is someone who will control the life or fate of individuals. To me,
God is just a kid enjoying a spinning top. And our millenniums could be it’s single rotation.
So if you are blaming God for anything, “HA HA HA Joke’s on you BATMAN”. Pick yourself up and move on.
